George Belkofer

George Belkofer started his commercial real estate career in 1969. After working as a salesman for Myrick, he went on to open his own commercial real estate agency in 1977.

During his four decades in the industry, he has established strong, ongoing relationships with highly acclaimed firms such as the Selig Companies, the Spanos Companies, Amli Realty, Trammel Crow, and many other commercial real estate companies in Atlanta.

As an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Real Estate, Belkofer & Company, Inc. remains a strong voice in the Atlanta commercial real estate community. Since his membership began in the 1970s, George Belkofer has been the recipient of the Phoenix Award and the Silver Phoenix Award from the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors honoring his hard work and dedication to his clients and the city of Atlanta.

Belkofer is also an extremely active member of the Marist School Alumni, where he was the second president of Marist Alumni Association and president of the associations on two other occasions. His decades of service led to being awarded the prestigious Father Hartnett Service Award. He currently sits on the Marist Alumni Executive Board.

While not working or volunteering, you’ll find Belkofer on the golf course or planning his annual hunting trip to North Dakota. Throughout the years, he has also been actively involved in youth sports.

John Carroll

John Carroll is a native of Atlanta. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BBA in Real Estate.

He has actively worked in commercial real estate land brokerage since 1977. During his career he has worked with national hotel companies, national and regional land developers, and builders identifying profitable market areas and specific sites for development of hotels, mixed use projects, residential subdivisions and single family residences

He worked with Marriott Corporation to indentify feasible markets and sites in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina for the development of Courtyard Hotels, Fairfield Inns and Residence Inns. Marriott Corporation purchased and built hotels on forty sites he indentified in those markets.

In 1991 he formed a residential building company to develop lots and build single family houses. That enhanced his experience in the development process from raw land to the sale of finished houses. Since 1997 his primary focus has been land and lot sales to residential users. In 2005 and 2006 he brokered land and lot transactions valued at eighteen million dollars.
